Two challenging panel discussions to highlight conference program

The Sept. 13-14 Retail Design & Construction Conference in Atlanta will feature two panels of industry leaders who will discuss current efficiency and sustainability challenges and how retailers are meeting them.

The two panel discussions are:

Big Issues, Big Challenges: Leading Retailers Discuss Critical Efficiency, Sustainability Trends. Panelists will include executives from Home Depot, Tractor Supply and other retailers.

The A/E Equation: Top Architects, Engineers Discuss Green Retail. Panelists will include professionals from DDG Architects, RRMM Architects, Larson Binkley Engineering and others.

The conference, owned and produced by Exponation, will focus on the efficient and sustainable design and construction of retail projects.

Attendance at the conference is open to retail design and construction executives, architects and engineers. Industry suppliers can only attend the event as a sponsor. Sponsorships are limited to only three companies per category.

The two-day conference will include two keynote speakers, roundtable discussions, multiple seminar and workshop sessions, networking receptions and exclusive events for Founding Sponsors and Advisory Board members.

The Thursday keynote speaker will be Scott Heydon, former Starbucks executive in charge of lean thinking, who will speak on Transforming Retail: Leveraging Proven Manufacturing Discipline to Enhance Competitiveness.

Conference participants will have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits from various accrediting groups. Registration fees will be affordable and discounts will be offered when more than one person from a firm registers for the event.
