With retail construction improving, companies are hiring project managers and other positions. When you are hiring new a member of the team, what is the most important item that you want to see on a resume and why?

There are three things we look for in a new hire in the order of importance:

Retail experience: We focus on retail so a candidate with retail experience immediately rises to the top of the list. Many outside our sector hold the mistaken opinion that retail design is simplistic compared to other building types. The nuances of the retail industry are lost on those inexperienced candidates.

Self motivation: It is generally evident when a candidate is self motivated and driven enough to keep up with the speed and demands of retail projects.

Revit : It has arrived and more and more clients are mandating its use.
